Re: Sonisphere Roll Call

If anyone could devise a way of getting chilled beer past security AND keeping it chilled, they would be crowned King Of The Festival Goers. It's all good and well getting warm spirits in, but beer...cold, cold beer. That's what you really want.

You can get a can or two between your legs but thats it :(

Cold beer is the only thing I spend money on in the Areana these days :)

Re: Sonisphere Roll Call

The nearest I've managed is a frozen flattened wine box bag at the bottom of a cool bag. Still didn't stay cold very long. If you did the same with lager, it'd go flat :(

Re: Sonisphere Roll Call

200 smackers. Forty quid more than a regular ticket, but I think that's a reasonable increase for showers, a t-shirt, a bar, and, most importantly, not having to camp on my tod. Normally a VIP ticket's 280 quid. I'm just hoping I haven't been fleeced and the ticket turns up.

Re: Sonisphere Roll Call

I'd loved to have gone but I've got 2 12hr shifts and a family birthday.

maybe next year
Roll out the stones from all the cemetery homes,
For the violence of a nation gone by,
For the politics of weakness and the garbage dump of souls
That will now black the sky.

Re: Sonisphere Roll Call

It was really good too. They have a much better way of doing the bands so you miss very little.
